Default recomendations

im looking to get high flow cats on my 1990 5.0. i have mac long tube headers and flowmaster 2 chambers. I want to get an H pipe. i know the x pipe gives more power but i heard the H has better sound. Can anyone give me a sugestion on what type of cats and h pipe i should get? thanx<edited><editID>blacklabel</editID><editDate>37780.4572800926</editDate></edited>

I also have a '90 with H pipes and long tube headers. My bud has the same but with a Basani X pipe. Dude, I gotta tell ya....that X pipe sounds great. So before you buy anything, get together with some Mustangers and find out who has the X pipe and compare sounds...you might like it better.

i found a site on the net that had sound clips of different types of pipes on 5.0's. I seemed to like the h pipes a little better, but the sound quality on all wernt that great . i'll have to check out some stangs in person to make my final decision. any thoughts on what brands i should check out for high flow cats?
