you assumed correctly,,all bearings all cups,,it was a carbon copy of the dozens i do at work each year. and this never happens to customer cars,,but i very rarely change ratios, in fact the only one i can think of was a Maurader that i installed 4.10s in but it was new and probably already well balanced since it has the old cobra motor.
i am gonna do some asking around and find out who around here does shaft balancing,,the one place i knew of went out of business.

Yea, know what you mean. Like buying underdrive pullies and figuring out they were already on there before I bought the car.
