you assumed correctly,,all bearings all cups,,it was a carbon copy of the dozens i do at work each year. and this never happens to customer cars,,but i very rarely change ratios, in fact the only one i can think of was a Maurader that i installed 4.10s in but it was new and probably already well balanced since it has the old cobra motor.

i am gonna do some asking around and find out who around here does shaft balancing,,the one place i knew of went out of business.

Sounds like a good place to start, just remember prices if you're gonna do that. An aluminum driveshaft is only like $150 I think.
