Default HORSEPOWER GAIN

How much horsepower gain do you get from going to a electric fan from stock?

No, just making a stupid assumption I guess, I don't see how you could gain any noticable horsepower off of it, but there maybe a SOTP difference. I've heard that you should upgrade your alternator when you do the swap though.

seat of the pants = SOTP. I'm sure that it does free up a couple of horsepower.

i've got one one on mine and when u rev it, it picks up quicker. but other than that u cant really feel much at the SOTP. i installed mine because i also put in an adjustable t-stat. so with that (the way i installed it) i can turn it on whenever i have the key on the accessory position and at whatever temp over somthin like 32* . just what i felt
