I just bought a 1993 Mustang GT. Everything is stock as far as I can tell except the air filter. I have very weak takeoff, what can I do to increase power? I can't even squeel my tires!!!! WTF

Do you have a manual or auto? you should be able to squeel the tires with ease. i know mine do

Unfortunately its an automatic :-( and its convertible, but I still have the need for speed.

BUT you have a 302.



Change your plugs, wires, dist cap , rotor button and coilpack ($20-40).
Now bump your timing up to 14* i bet ur at like 6 or 8 degress. try that its cheap. gears do that sluggish mess 2 lol

plz i have had a 302 with 190 rwhp and spun like hell... i say get a small stall like 2000 b&m or change ya gears if was a step above stock id say gears n stall but i aint

im not sayin it cant spin hell if u want an answer directly to that question (why cant he spin) its more than likely a wornout traction-lok

im just sayin in stock form these cars are pigs especialy the auto's.
