Looks like those L/T headers are killing your low end torque anyways. Only use those L/T's on racing cars...heavily moded cars cause they are good for mid to high range torque. You should be able to spin them while on brake though....but you won't be able to by just taking off from 1st with those low end torque killers

Hey, I am proabaly as old or older than Pro50Sc and maybe Randy? Regardless we all realize how stupid it was when we did this........and its like crack. Once you friends see you do it you will keep on.......at the expense of tires, motor mounts and just not good for your rig!!

Hey if you want to impress your self here is how to do it...........go to a mall parking lot, spray some clorox bleach on yout tires and on the pavement. Get back in your car and turn the wheel to the left all the way. Hold in your clutch, rev it 4-5K shift it in 1st or 2nd and let it out quickly.........................Theres you burnout.

After that..do not post how to fix your throwout bearings, your motor mounts, or where to find cheap tires......

The only reason I say that is cuz there has been alotta young kids killed in their cars cuz they lack the experience/common sense when it comes to fast cars. My oldest son is gonna start driving soon and I'll tell him the same thing. And he won't be driving any hot rod either.

ahh dude i wont rag on ya ive done it for my buddys who have never seen a real car so i feel ya. just be careful if its a sock clutch dont dummp it from to high. if you have big feet like me you can hold the brake all the way with one foot, the lcutch in with the other, with the foot on the brake try to keep your heel on the brake and use your toe to get on the gas at the same time, once u got ur rpms up let out ur clutch while still holding ur brake nad gas with one foot
