woah just got the tranny back, painted cherry red and installed! nice !


Was dissasembled to the case, hot tanked for 3 hours.

It has new pump, seals,shift kit, lube improvements,red- clutches, SILICONE HD o- rings, new HD POLYCARBONATE groomets, KEVLAR Band, new Updated SPRIRAL locking retainers, EXTRA clutches in the drum, with FORGED Heavy Duty Plates, TCI 3000 STALL converter with welded internals, anti ballooning, Heavy Duty Forged Shaft.

The technician told me that tranny is good for 500 hp and 100,000 miles + and gave me a 3 year 36, 000 mile warranty on all parts !
He advised me to use some kind of racing trans fluid to keep the temps low, I installed an External Trans Cooler as well , and am upgrading to an electric fan and 3g alternator.

$700 parts and labor / tax $450 torque converter, will have running very soon, got tired[&o] OH THE STARTER BUST ME IN THE FACE!


funny part is when the tranny is out THE ENGINE TILTS FORWARD somewhat , making installation a little fun.
