exhaust raspy crackling

when ever i accelerate past 3000 rpms my exhaust starts to make a rattling crackling raspy sound until i shift. what is causing the noise?

I had this problem after I got my new pipes and flows...
They didn't have time to put in the equalizer (H) pipe, In the mean time I put on a set of bbk equal length shortys, and then got the H pipe In, IM not sure which one or if both stopped the rasp but its gone now...

do you have an off road mid pipe with the flows. does it sound tinny. like something rattleing in a tin can. if so thats normal with flowmasters and an off road mid pipe.
