Yep... Driving home from work today. Tearing up the traffic; owning the road. THEN I get off' the highyway and do my turnaround and there's a Saleen S281. He positively had some work done because my cars' fast. My car's a handling car and I do 13.OH's on the same crusty **** tires that I've had for years, and they're about bald. I run a 3.55 rear gear with a tremec 3550.

We square up at a roll around 35 mph; I'm in 2nd. I hit it and he walks me so hard that all I heard were the firecrackers comming out of his exhaust! Maybe I should have winded it out in 1st. I think he was in first, or he had a 4.10 rear gear in 2nd. But he had a blower so he had the advantage in his corner, but damn... Nothing gets your ego right more than getting pounded on the road. I felt like I was in an Escort. I bet he'd do low 12's easy. He wasn't setup for drag racing either; and he had a knucklehead in the passenger seat to boot.

I need to get that 3.73 that my camshaft specs out. No more messin' around. I wish I had the money to build my Turbo motor!

I don't know. I didn't look at it that closely. But the noise from his blower was real loud too.

I'll live though. Nobody has the fastest car for long. Someone always comes around to keep it real.

I saw a pretty crazy lookin Saleen today. It was the brand new body style, and it looked awesome. The tailpipes came out of the center of the rear of the car--like the new Corvettes. But this is the cool part: His license plate said, "YUDLOOS." I guess with a car like that, he's probably right.

That sucks... well if it makes you feel any better my retart *** tried racing a brand new M5 with a V10 in it a few weeks ago. He was on the highway and I didnt know what kind of beamer it was cause I was cruising along side of him.. well long story short i knew I was going to loose but not by that much. He beat me by about 10 car lengths in 6-8 seconds.... pretty pathetic
