hey fellas...i was looking around for some HID's cause IMO i think they're damn nice and basically for all the times that someone in a much newer ride has these they blind the hell out of me.

What kindof bulbs can you buy that are 6 or 8k ?

eventualy i plan on the 8k for the lights and the foglights, but i plan on the kit that has the high/low beam feature

it's to a certain extent, the hid kits are all about hte same brightness, the 6k and 8k are the easiest to see with because they are the closest to "clean light"

thats true, but the 4300K are supposed to be the brightest, but who wants yellow HID headlights. I think they do get darker b/c if you look at the 12000K kits they are close to a deep purple, which wouldnt be as bright as white. Any HIDs should be pretty bright though.

they actually draw less current that the stock headlights, and I believe you wire them to their own power supply, So you will not have to worry about melting any wires.

I guess im the only one with HID's installed on my 5.0 so far...I have the 6k anLUV them..Much easier to see at night an looks killer. I was thinkin of gettin the 8k but i thought that it was jus too blue an cops were gonna be annoying. I have pics of it with my phone but they suck so i will take sum with digital camera this weekend for u.
