Default peskey srt4s

the other day a new srt4 rolled up next to me and... yep.... wanted to race. go figure. i swear, those srt4s are out looking for a race just as bad as guys are out looking for sex!! haha. anyways, we raced 4 times at four different stop signs, every time i was ahead about 1/2 car length. im a decent driver so i have a good idea that the other drive was decent also. i have had the "pleasure" (note to quotations) of owning a srt4 and those things are quick, however, when i bought my 93 gt a year ago i did not think that it was as fast as an srt. i was lucky enought to buy a great car with 120,000 with stock internals, intake mainfold, msd ingition, 8mm tyalor wires, cold air, bbk headers with flowmater, accel coil, 70mm body, and a mustang dynamics chip... never herd of it before. i was suprised at the results of the races, what do you think is the rwhp on a fox with those mods??

between stop signs of course you're going to win with your extra torque, but give it an 1/8th, or a 1/4 for that matter and it's gonna fly past you. Those cars are incredibly quick

the stop signs were not back to back. in other words there was a good 1/4 mile in between each one. it just happens that they guy lived by me. but, yea i do get what your saying and i know those cars are quick. i had one, it kept breaking under warranty, sold it, got a 5.0.

haha fair enough, but I know for a fact unless a mustang has a lot of mods, such as being stroked or s/c or a good h/c/i combo, it will not keep up, at the Mopar nationals those things were running 13.1 stock with good tires... too bad it's still a neon or i'd buy one

13.1!! thats like a vette (prior to 05) or a camaro ss. i have always herd 14.1 via car and driver... and thats if you knew how to drive!! it kills me how fast those things are, AND how a 5 liter engine has a hard time hanging around with mods. because of that, those srt drivers are really cocky. it seems like a v8 should smash a 4 banger, its unfortunate it works the opposite in the case of the srt. however, all mustang owners have this... your mustang wont start breaking after 20,000 miles like my srt did!!

to all those srt owners out there; enjoy it while it lasts, because they wont last long!! hahaha

14.1? That must be the base SRT-4 with the stage 1 turbo, these had the Stage 2 and were most likely tuned to up the PSI, never-the-less, still stock

Steeda intake?[&:]
You are most likely in the 195-210 rwhp range.
