Just found out the A9M is for Automatic cars and A9L is for manual cars.

My car is a Manual and has a A9M ECM. ???? What gives ???

A manual car should be ok with an auto computer.
But, an auto car wouldn't be too great with a manual computer. So I have heard.


The A9M should work just fine for you.

ive heard the a9p (auto comp.) is better for 5speeds because a more aggresive fuel and air curves but u never know.

my car runs the same performance wise after going to an a9l so I dont believe that

Grabbem swapped puters, I can't remember if he noticed a difference in power or not.

only thing that sucked about the auto puter was that every time you started it or shifted gears the rpms would jump up

i had a C3W ('93 only) computer in it before but it **** the bed
