Default please help, tensioner pulley?

I bought a tensioner/idler pulley and im kind of scared to change it.

well first off, i know you turn it clockwise to loosen it, but i dont like the noise its making. its taking the whole assembly as i turn, is that the right thing to do? The arm the tensioner is on will turn as i try loosining it.

Another thing is that alot is in the way, its hard to get down in there to change it!! UGHGHGHG

I'm pretty sure you turn the nut counter clockwise. You turn it clockwise to loosen the belt.

OH, that does make sense : )

yep, im kinda dumb when it comes to simple stuff. i have no mechanical experience what so ever.

and im going to technical school when i graduate next year! ha!

so, i do turn it counter clockwise to loosen it and take it off.
