my guess is that you would need a lot of torque, lot of gear, and a motor that can live at a high rpm continously.

you would need a very stiff chassis and lots of suspension work. (and tires )

thats just a guess though.

I know.. that's what I hate about those dumbass movies. First everyone wanted "NOS." They really didn't know how it woked or what it did, but they had to have it. Now they all want to try drifting. Can't wait to see what the next sequel will bring. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

Personally I think it's kind of stupid, but to each his own. I guess I just associate it with rice, and that's probably why I think it's dumb. If I'm gonna waste tires, It's gonna be by burning the SH$# outta them while racing or something instead of gliding around oh so gracefully like some gay male figure skater.

mustangs have more toque and gear then most of the more popular cars they use for drifting. so i'm not worried about that, and as for tires, i'm just going to use a set i have laying around. my suspension has already had some work so i'm not too worried about that, the only thing that concerns me is the high rpm and i probably need to stiffen up my chassis a little more.

tokyo drift sucked, i could care less about that movie, the point is its fun and i want to do something in my mustang other then drag like everyone else.
