very easy to do. First, you need to get some ramps or something to get under the car. Then get the car on the ramps, chock the tires, put on e-brake etc. To make it easier, I put the car shifter in neutral. Then I go underneath the car and look on the driver's side of the tranny. You will see a single bolt that's holding the cable to the side of the tranny. Loosen the bolt so that the bracket in the cable can freely slide back and forth. The cable is bolted to a little lever. The lever is what changes your gears. Pull it all teh way back and that should be first. Then slowly move it forward until you hear it click. Every click will be one gear. Count the number of "clicks" neded until you get the tranny itself in neutral. Then take the slack out of the cable by pulling it slightly (careful not to pull it too hard or your shifter will move forward to.) After that, tighten the bolt back up and you're done. Now both the tranny and the shifter should bew in neutral.
I hope that makes sense. If not, I can run outside and snap a quick photo of what I mean.
