which motor should i build a 427 small block or 347

427 as in a bored and stroked 351? Are you using an aftermarket block like the Ford "R", Dart, or ManOWar blocks? Probably wouldn't be wise to do it with a regular 351 block. Anyways, if I had the money to do it I would take the more cubes option.

well i would go with the 351 stroker. I dont know if a 427 would be my first choice though... Why not a 408?

Haha, cause 427 sounds way cooler and then when someone looks under your hood and sees a small block they'll think your full of it, and then you can pay off the zounds of money you just spent on your new fancy motor by takin' him to the cleaners!

A 427 is pushing it unless you want a trailer queen... A 408 is a much better choice...
