if its fixable i mite try and buy it, i can get frame work done for cheap ccuz my cuzin used to work at a auto body shop. and he can do the side panels and the hood and paint. if there is no engine damage

I ts hard to tell the extent of the damage in the pics. I would guess there is radiator support damage with the fan through the radiator. Also the strut tower may be pushed back with how far the fender is overlaping the door. You need to look at the door openings and see how the doors fit and if the roof was buckled. The car will definately need some pulling on a frame machine and possibly the radiator support and frame rail replaced.
Go look at the car and figure out how much in parts you will spend to put it back together.
I paid $1200. for my stock 91 gt that was not wrecked but needed a lot of work. I would think a $1000. is too much for that car unless it is very clean.

what is the downside of frame work? can it be fixed for under 1500 if there is no engine damage, i know it needs a new radiater and fan. where is a good place to look for new body panels and bumpers and crap. i am really thinken about geten this. what should i look for.

if the frame is damaged i wouldnt even bother. with the frame work and all the body pieces and paint, you can just go out a buy a mustang thats not destroyed and drive it the same day you buy it

You should look for creases or kinks in the frame rail and for damage to the radiator support. Look for the doors overlapping the rear quarter panals. Look for unequal gaps around door frame to the roor line. All this will help tell the extent of the damage.
If you are setting your limit at $1000. for the car and $1500. in parts walk away. You should be able to find a not wrecked car for $2500. that may need some tlc.

Whith out a doubt it will cost over 2k to make that car rite again. Go and look at the car maybe it is not as bad as it looks. You could always find a 4 cyl. car and transfer all the parts.
