Get another job it will not cost you a thing and you will be able to afford all the parts you want.
You can start with a K&N filter, under drive pulleys, headers, throttle body or gut the entire interior and lighten up the car and it will go faster. There is no CHEAP solution.

Advance your timing, if it's not already. If you're running around with 6 degrees of base timing like I was when I got my car, you'll gain like 10-15hp just from going to 14*. Those 3.55s should wake that thing up pretty well, if all is in good tune. Is your car speed density or MAF( I didn't see whether you were from California or not)?

No such thing as cheap power... dont waste your money on mods you cant even measure at the strip... save up for a supercharger an call it a day...

In the techarticles there is a list of freebie mods, and dont bother with underdrives, you'll be better off taking some time and saving your pennies for a big mush such as a h/c/i combo kit... jmo, bolt ons only go so far

That sounds like the best way to go depending on how many miles are on that engine.......But its still very pricey for that supercharger...Good luck
