Default GOOD AND CHEAP

So im looking to replace the front struts on my 87 5.0 vert. Whats the best struts for the money? and do i need a spring compressor to install them? is it hard? thanks for any help best tips around are on this site!!!!

budget? and yes a spring compressor isn't absolutely needed, but it'd be the smart/safe way to do it! i would use one, as i'm sure many of the others would!

well i see 2 kyb struts and 2 kyb rear shocks for 119 shipped on ebay. Is that a good deal? I'm not looking for a crazy suspension im not building a hotrod or anything just fun 5.0 with a little kick here and there.

The KYB G2 struts are nice. I changed those out in the front of my car. Plus I don't remember but I dont even think i pulled out the spring. I have done so many cars I can't really remember.

But I do remember I had both fronts replaced in about a half day...with just **** around too.
