there was a guy in another thread who said he actually got better numbers with edelbrocks than AFRs...i dont remember who it was though.

Edelbrocks are not bad heads at all .... there are alot of companies out there besides AFR... believe it or not!

Depends on your application. Edelbrocks can give you more power then AFR's it just depends on what size heads you buy and what mods you have.

out of the box the afrs will outflow the eddy vic jrs by a little, but after some porting they flow as well as the larger afrs. and for the price, could very reasonably get the vic jrs and port them for the same/less money than a set of afrs.

for the$ i bought rpms and had ported i flow more air,and more avg air then afrs and i had 165s and 185s b4 there great..to say there better then edelbrocks id say depending on set up...at selfs racing here we put rpms on after afr165s and gained a few hp....

Where did you get that from? Edelbrock victor jrs will flow all the way up to 7500 rpm right out of the box on a 302. Afr 185's which cost more won't flow that high up. The afrs will make more down low power but if your building a pure power beast the victor jrs would be the way to go.

stay far away from victor jr ..pro comp ...eldebrock .. they dont flow ,so there for they make no power ..go with afr 165 or 185
