i think 89 is regular gasoline here so i shoul dbe safe to move it up to 14 then. ok can anyone answer my other question about how to adjust my shift points for my auto tranny? thanks for your advice.

I'm at 15 and if i don't run 91 it pings. how are you guys running 87 with 14?

Are you serious? What are the specs of your motor? Stock timing is at 10 and should no way be pinging....

Yeah i changed my timing this weekend and it was pinging at 14, so 12, then 10 ping.. Maybe I'm getting the pointer wrong. I'm using the top of the pointer where is says the word time...
