1.Subframe connectors
2.heads (AFR,TFS)
3.exhaust
4.Intake
5.Underdrive pulley
6.gear (3.55 or 3.73 at the absolute most)
7.Tune

I said exhaust before intake because Fords flow REALLY poorly on the exhaust side, intake isnt as much of an issue.

subframes after gears and traclok? you gotta stiffen the chasis first... cause you know how many miles people wait to romp on the new gears... 500 right? lmao... about 30' or the first red light...lol [8D]

First and foremost you should stiffen the chassis, even on a bone stock stang you can tweak the frame. Before I got mine I cracked my dash going around a corner [:@]. I recommended heads before the other stuff because your gears cam exhaust should be based around the most bang for the buck power, which on a 5.0 is the heads. Cuz I guarantee if youre pumpin 400hp to the back tires, you probably wouldnt want as steep of a gear. Also, your intake and exhaust might have to be different as well, like you might need some huge primary tube headers, which you wouldnt need with stock or even GT-40 heads. And while youve got the motor torn down that far you might as well slap a cam in er. Then youd need headers also.
Ideally you would have a plan of action and have all of your parts picked before you order the 1st one. That way theyre tuned to each other rather than having a bunch of mix match parts that might not be the ideal setup.

DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR THE BEST MOD/UPGRADE TO A 302 IS CYLINDER HEADS. PERIOD.
