Guy at kenne bell said i cant use a explorer intake cuz its the gt 40p so the the ports up top are half inch er sumthing too far forward throws the pulleys off. But since my only question for you guys is since the pre 96 explorers had gt40 not gt40p heads does that mean the intake i got could work if its from a pre 96 explorer? or are all the explorer intakes the same?

the kenne bell tech website recommends a gt40 lower intake for the 2.2L supercharger... so i would assume it's work, why not just buy a new one, thats minimal cash compared to a kb blower

it has nothing to do with kb it has to do with the intake, is the intake off an explorer from 96 and earlier gt40 or gt40p, becuase he said explorer intakes are lil different where the ports are up top in the lower manifold only thing i was wondering is if all the xplorer intakes were teh same or if they changed in 96 or 97 like the heads.
