Default what to do next ?

hey i've already postes a couple Q's about what i should run if i get certain mods but now i'm real confused. I'm gonna have around 2500 total to spend this winter. I have a 92 GT AOD vert. I've ran a best time of 15.002 and best trap of 94MPH. The stock gear is 273 i think and i already bought a rear end with a 410 gear in it i plan on installing over the winer i dont think its going to cost me much other than fluids. and i hear getting the stock control arms off are a huge b*tch so any info on how to get them off would b nice.

Now for my question. I'm looking at AFR 165 heads and a cam. Then possibly look for a used parts: intake and throttle body maybe sum headers to make the heads run their best

My other option is 3000 stall torque converter, control arms , maybe struts and then I'd really like the Zex wet nitrous kit for sum power. used slicks would be nice but will depend on $$ left over if i go this route

Up for any opinions, but supercharger is out of the question right now. I'd never be able to save my $ 4 that long. it's killing me to not buy parts now with the 500 i already have saved up.

Also my cousin is giving me a AOD for free that already has a shift kit in it so my tranny wouldnt be too too bad without a converter i guess ?? I'd really like more power but if using the power i have now more efficiently is more important i guess i could hold off on the heads another year ?

do the do the H/C/I swap then after that (and supporting mods, shouldnt be too much) spend the rest on suspension.

Dollar for dollar the BEST upgrade to a 302 is the heads, once you have heads ANY other performance mod will net noticable butt dyno results. . Id say do heads, cam FIRST, then mess with your intake and exhaust.

There are alot of different routes you can go... and FYI: You can get a 10psi setup for a little over 2 grand. But you will have to buy supporting mods like injectors, fuel pump, etc.

But if I were you I would go with the suspension first and than go with the power mods. Just my .02. Everyone likes to do things differently.

You can get cheaper heads than AFR's for sure, they may not flow quite as well, but they will be close, especially if you look around on ebay. But honestly, 2500 isnt gonna get you too far unless you spend very wiseley. I was trying to do a budget build with gt40p's and i'm well over 2500 right now, and i still have about 200 more to spend before the car will runn then another 600 for a dyno tune. Just shop wisely.

well i have an X pipe and CAI so my air in and out shouldnt b too bad if i get the heads , i'm thinking get the heads and a cam, should be around 1900 b4 shipping etc. then buy sum used headers and possibly self port my intake if its possible i'd have to read up on it. but yea it'd b nice to find someone willing to part with their 70mm + throttle body and intake lmao my friends should be able to find me one but how much u think i should pay 4 a used intake, say like little more than half the "new" value of it ?

the heads + cam for 1900 was including rockers, any advice on those. Harland sharp 1.6 are the ones i'm looking at now. i guess 1.7's make more top end power but i'd rather have low end power 4 now

oh another thing that i really gotta find out is with an AOD and a 410 gear, if i buy these heads / any performance heads do i have to worry about running out of gear by the end of the 1/4 mile. If not when should i start worrying about that ?

I've already bought the 410 gear in a rear end already (off a friend) so i didnt have to pay to get it installed i'm hoping who ever installed it did a good job.
