If they are FRPP gears then they are coated and don't require any breakin period. They'll be good so long as the shop gets a good pattern on them.

Yea I know shes definetly a keeper lol Last christmas she baught me valve covers and a bunch of other stuff but my car got broken into and it all got stolen [&:] She baught me my gears and a good friend of mine who I have been helping with his car for the past year baught me the installation kit. And my parents gave me money to have them installed but I spent it on other sh*t already lol.

Thats the kind of break in that i could see my self doing. lol Its just i dont have enough money to get a new one and have it installed if i were to break it in my break-in. lol

I don't think gears need to be broken in. I don't see why, maybe just get them heated up and expand and contract a couple times. How would you break gears in on a drag car? You can't drive it on the street and they get put through more abuse then any rear and hold up.
