My 95GT has an OBD II.it was made at the end of 95 right before the modulars came out.
[sm=nono.gif]....It has the OBD-II connector ....but is not functional, ALL '94-'95 5.0L are OBD-I........5.0L OBD-II systems are only found on the Explorer/Mountaineer trucks.

Both 94 AND 95 stangs have OBD-II ports, due to Ford using the same in-car harness in the GT/Cobra as the V-6

Your car is OBD 1 it just has an obd2 connector. OBD1 on the 94 and 95 mustang was pretty much obd2 it does all the same things it just has a diffrent connector. My 94 has an obd 1 port under hood but an 0bd2 port in the car. yours probably has the same thing.

I was thinkin about this today at work, i was wondering what i had, but now i know. Thanks....fellas.....

Would there be any perks of gettin a scanner for my car ? Or should i not waste my money and just take it to the parts store and have them run it when it goes on ( i work there too ) ?

'94-'95 Stangs OBD-I/EEC-IV has a "datastream" capability (as other post-'90 Ford EEC-IV's). A scanner with the datastream option, will allow you to see real-time the different sensor output readings live. To access the codes, the jumper method is "done" by the scanner......BTW, the following engine bay diagram shows the location PX429 mentioned...labeled as Data Link Connectors (DLC)....
