Default 295's rubbing in the back

So i have 295's in the rear of my car. Every time I hit a bump, epecialy with other people in the car, it scrapes horrbly , and it is now digging into my tire bad. I love the stance of my car and do not want to give that up so I am avoiding going to a smaller tire size. My mechanic told me if I just get some stiffer shocks it will be fine, but it will ride just a little rougher. Only problem is I don't know **** about suspension or anything. I don't know what will fit my car, what brands are good, which or stonger and which are weaker. So basically I am asking for somebody to explain to me what I am looking for and maybe some links to some shocks that will work. Thanks guys!

well, do you still have the quad shocks? have you bothered to look in the wheel well to figure out where its scraping, or are you just waiting for one of us to fix it for you?

Yes actually I have. My left wheel is bending the bottom of my well out a little bit, that is mainly where it is cutting into my wheel. I trying hammering it up but it stell bends back down sumhow when it scrapes.

you need a stiffer spring to prevent your wheels from going so far up, also you may want to look into some wheel shims(cant think of name)

i had to bang in the pinch welds on my car in the back to fit my 315's. but i have a feeling your wheels just have thw wrong backspacing

you should change out to a 275/50/15, youll get better grip with the thinner tire believe it or not

you said A stiffer spring. Do I only have one spring in the back? Is there a certain brand or type I need to look at?

He probably still have stock upper and lower rear control arms, and his quad shocks are more than likely SHOT... so his car is suffereing from an extreme amount of lateral lash in the rear end. (YOU *** END SWINGS FROM SIDE TO SIDE... and not in a sexual way )

Replace your upper and lower control arms, remove the quads, and buy this suspension kit

yea but that sez it will lower my car an inch... ok in my eyes, not know much about suspension, that would be bad seeing as it is rubbing being as low as it is. Why would I want it even lower? Woundn't that just make it scrape ezier? I'm sure ur rite I am just confused.
