Yeah im not even goign to atempt it....i need to find a place to do it in NJ...i was thinking abotu buying a top of ebay what do you think? then having someone install it. But dude awsome job. looks great

thanks everybody..its not perfect but i learned alot and i made some notes for the next one i do..if anybody is close i would be more than happy to help..plus you cant beat saving close to 500.00...

I have been thinking about doing mine myself but just don't have the time. A local place would charge me 400 in just labor to put a top on with pads and rear liner. They also warrantly for 1 year.

Did replacing your top help it open and close better or is the adjustments that are needed to the conv frame?

until the top stretches its a bit hard to close...mines been on for a few days now and closes quite good now..

thats funny you mention it , ive been a stay at home dad for the last few years and was thinking of opening a shop.. not something huge weve checked a few places in toledo and the rent on most buildings is not bad but the economy is so poor..

I also installed one on My Sn95 a couple years ago. I bought it off ebay for around $250 including the glass with defroster. Me and a buddy did it in a weekend. For me it was a must since I was 16 and just didnt have the $1000 to have it done even though eveyone just told me to have a shop do it. I only had one wrinkle by the rear glass on the passenger side which we worked out and it looks great. The only hard part for me was getting the tensioners hooked back up and the whole install was very time consuming. Overall I am extremely happy i did it myself.
