Default Ran into a problem, need help :/

Hi guys today i failed NJ inspection for my exhaust.. no cats and for emissions ( carbon monoxide ) ..... i have a 40 series h pipe 3' no cats... i need to buy an exhaust with atleast 2 cats on to pass... love love love the way the car sounds now so it sucks but gotta do it... I have bbk shorty headers so it makes everything harder especially with the 3' exhaust... went onto bigexhaust.com and was looking for cats but they only have 2.5... its confusing dont want to pay over $300.... 3' cats are $175 each!!!!!! was wondering what exhausts with cats would fit onto the bbk headers

i think your going to have a hard time finding a 3" h-pipe with cats in a catalog. sounds to me like you need to have something custom made, or swap the headers back to stock.

well idk about NJ , but in ny cars under 1995 are just visual checks. therefore you can just make "fake cats".

our 1990 thunderbird had "fake cats", we had cats cut open and hollowed out and tacked on the pipe, looked real, lol. NY DMV is picky though....
