Default TB question

thinkin bout gettin a throttle body pretty soon and had a few questions. is a 70mm TB the way to go? and also i saw that summit has some summit brand TBs for like $140, does anyone know if they are good and does a certain brand TB better than others?? thanx guys

i dont know much about TB's but i know my parents mustnag has a 70mm or 75mm BBK throttlebody and it works good....they havent had a problem with it.....

ok i'm gonna steal year thread

i'm looking to do a HCI upgrade and i was wondering whether or not to do a 76mm MAF with a 70mm TB or a 70mm MAF with a 65mm TB

i was thinkin the first would be good some i know sometimes bigger isn't better

^^^ not very nice.. But I would say the bigger setup so you have room to grow with more mods.

uise a 76mm maf either way and a 65mm t/b they're cheap and can always sell the 65 when time comes for a 70

that's a big difference? i know you're sposed to make a funnel thing but wouldn't that restrict the sirflow some??
