Default looking at getting the bbk ssi intake

I was looking to get the bbk ssi intake for my 87 mustang gt. Has anyone tried this on their mustang? What do you guys think of this intake. What would you suggest i get for a intake? Also if i was to get this intake would i need to switch to different injectors? If i got the trick flow street intake would i need the lower and upper, or will the upper bolt onto the stock manifold. What would be a good combo to go with the intake manifold? I'm new to the car world, so help me out.

thanks,
Ben

Pick another manifold. There are numerous problems w/ that one. Do a search.

go with proven intakes, go with edelbrock RPM II or get you a holley systemax, dont spend money on the looks of the intake

Had one ............ it's ok, but its a big open runner intake, made more for s/c or stroker applications.

I also had PCV oil problems from their **** poor PCV baffle design, it also hits the stock hood a little
on the front of the intake.

Install was a bit of a pain too, close fit byfirewall and didnt think much of the way the EGR vale mounts.

just get a TrickFlow street Heat, they're the best bang for the buck, imo

intake comes completer, upper and lower, your stock injectors and fuel rails will work fine.
be good idea to urgradae your MAF and throttle body at same time.

+1 on the TrickFlow or Edelbrock. And yes, get the upper and lower.

if you dont want to spend alot, edelbrock or trickflow, i prefer edelbrock, if you got a little more money, gt-40 or edelbrock performer rpm 2 or even the holley systemax

lol gt40 isnt really the manifold for those with lots of money, quite the opposite really. especially considering every other manifold you listed is more expensive
