I don't have much experience with carb vehicles, but...
Most carb setups seem to have the pcv routed to the air filter assembly.
I would think it would be best to run a pcv in each valve cover?
I look forward to hearing what others suggest...

No you don't want the pcv routed to the distribution block.
There is too much risk of contaminating the other vac accessories with oil when doing that.
