you guys are just retarded, everyone knows that carbon fiber hoods give abooout a 5% increase in horsepower and a 7% increase in torque. this is because of the fact that it takes weight of the front end, and also reduces drag. this in turn reduces the load put on the wheels and in turn the engine and its rotating assembly. any reduction of weight in the rotating assembly and reduced drag upon the engine allows it to operate more efficiently, giving it more power.
so basicly the rotating mass is reduced, giving it more power. also another advantage is it allows the car to rev faster, much like an aluminum driveshaft or aluminum flywheel.

now you may all LOL at my rice box, thank god i bought it when i did and saved it from more embarassment....just made me sad to see a mustang in such pain....
sry no pix nemore and im in the process of saving it, its a 89 GT that had ......
-chrome altezza taillights
-15x8 "EMO" 3 spoke wheels
-a "$4200" system.......that when i removed raise the back end 4 freakin inches it when from a low rider look to a raked drag look (thank god)
-and like the enitre interior billet collection...
-a red undercar LED kit along with a trunk LED kit
-a "flex-a-lite" fan....
-macco $300 paintjob that they failed to cover the "new rubbers" for.....
-2 switches in the dash the arent connected to anything, just in the dash....
-the owner said a "power tower short throw"....that much to my suprize when i went to install my pro 5.0 POWER TOWER short throw, the stock unit was still in place..................
-a ashtray switch panel with 3 switches 1 of which turns on the trunk leds and the 2 werent connected to anything....
-a "new headliner" that when installed had more stretch marks than a 600lb woman after lyposucksion
- new carpet thats nice if it werent for the person that installed it forgeting how panels go back into the car...
- a glued in climate control
- front "clear corners" with stock yellow headlights (looks teriffic....)
-black chicken wire covering the fog light holes which i discovered after i bought the car that some1 hit something with and bent the fog light mount bracket....
- the oil pan pushed in thx to a tard using it as a jacking point
- and the smog pump tubes cut and welded close
- ah yes and a high output alternater and UD pullies....
- red painted caliper and rear brake drums....
but luckly b4 the car was raped by the dude i bought it from the owner b4 him added a bbk CAI and bbk LTs....

each sub - 30 lbs
sub box - 40-50ish lbs
amps - 15-20ish lbs
luckly its all out now and lookin good
got some new part and the only things left i need to fix is the wheels and headlights...........$$$$$
