Default 91 gt Is this a good price?

I got to drive the gt today. I talked to the neighbor guy that did all the work on it too. It has 150k on it, completly stock. New clutch on A/C compressor, new stock MAF, new brakes, new radiator fan, airfilter, A/C just charged (slight leak in line right on top, easy to replace and recharge), New power steering pump seal, new wires, plugs and dist. cap. Ran the diagnostsic code withno trouble, and passed emmisions. Interior looks brand new, has power everything. drives excellent. No oil leaks. Paint is a little faded, but we applied a little wax and it shined right up. No door dings, one quarter size chip under the airscoop below the driver door. The owner is in the process of moving and had to give up the car since his company is buying him a new one. The guy selling is the guy who put everything new on it. He's a goodneighbor and I know he does great work. $3500 is the asking price, but the owner told the seller(my neighbor)to have it detailed. I offered to my neighbor, $3300. He said he'd call and I said if he wouldn't take it, I could detail it on my own.

Your offer is right on. If you like the car and it fits what you are looking for, buy it. I have about 140,000 miles on my '93 5.0, and it is strong and I love it. With all the fixes you mentioned, and the now shiny paint, go for it. I really don't think you'll be sorry, and the mods you can (and will) add will make you extremely happy.

You are about to suffer "Mustang fever", and I think you will enjoy it.

It sure surprised me that the motor was as strong as it was, ran like new, and the steering and handling was still so tight. The owner is an older guy and he claims he didn't run very hard too often. If someone didn't know any better, they'd probably think it only had 50K on it.</P>

with a 150000 on it i think 3300 is alittle 2 much. 2500-3000 is more like it. i paid 2800 and mine is in perfect shape with 115,000.

Well, I did manage to get a detail job thrown in. And he'sreplacing the line on the A/C that was leaking. That's as low as he'd go. I looked around here and online, older stangs and some with around the same milage ran about the same, + or - a little. I also figured since I know the guy that ownedit, he would be willing tohelp fix anything that would go wrong with it,or any mods I may put on. Sounds like you may have just hit a pretty good deal on yours. These are my favorite body styles, got any pics?

99- present is probably my 2nd most favorite. I'm not much on the styling they did in 94, but they improved upon it till they got to where they got them looking pretty good, till they changed them in 99.

notch foxes are cool, they are stiffer than hatchies they handle better. -- I like fox bods and New Edge, but the SNs are probably my least favourite of the late model types.
