This would be my first mustang, and i'd like some advice on what to look for. Are there any common problems with this particular model? How many miles do most people get out of that engine? Does this price seem fair?

Thanks

I just bought a '91 and it's got 150k on it. Dosen't leak or use any oil. Just before I bought it, It's had the usual replaced that would wear under normal circumstances. Alternator A/C clutch, powersteering seal etc. Keep in mind this car is 4 years older than the one you are looking at. For the price, I'd say compare to others with the same options. Look on the internet. You could also get an idea if you go to kbb.com and nada.com and spec it out. They'll give you a price that will be near, but you need to use your judgement on the condition of the car to determine its worth.
