I went to get into my Mustang tonight and well.... the door handle broke. I can pull up on it but the door won't open. It seems that the platics handle has broken from the metal part.

Any ideas where to get a new one or a way to fix this.

I can get you pictures tomorrow when it light out.

yah this is a common problem with the foxbodys. most of the time it is still possible to open the door, just a little finger pain involved. you can buy a new handle from just about any mustang place.

+1. i got my 2 from 5.0resto and they were pretty cheap. like 28 bucks shipped or something.

The sad part is now I have to open the door from the passenger side - :P

Have you tried pushing it in, and then pulling up (while pushing it in)? My driver side handle is broke, and that does the trick so i dont have to hop over the console!!

I'll have to try that. I can open it from the passenger side and then walk around the car - :P

I'll try what you suggested and see if that works.
