The 94 GT 5.0 does not have a crank/cam position sensor. On the SN95 models of Mustang the ECU retards timing at WOT. The ECU is what kills the performance on SN95 models.

Pull the spout and set it at 14 degrees and run 93 octane fuel. Listen to make sure it is not pinging when you get down on it. If it is back down a degree at a time till the pre-ignition stops. Every engine is different.

here read this for the timing. 14 degrees is what most people aim for. but its not always right you can sometimes get pinging if you dont have 93 octane around. i can only get access to 91 octane so i got my timing at 12 degrees.

He may be a bit harsh and blunt at times, but the truth is Adder has been extremely helpful to countless people on here. Sure, some people get their feelings hurt. But they also get solid advice that could potentially save them hundreds if not thousands of dollars in the long run. So if given the choice, I'd rather get insulted and know what's wrong with my car, then not get my feelings hurt yet have to toss a pile of money to figure out what the problem is.

Does MSD make a A6L for the sn95's? anyone selling some good stuff for a stock long block? I'm strating to build up a 347 stroker motor and just want to make the stock motora little more lively for right now. I'm not used to ford's and have been building chevys and dodges for the last few years but always wanted to build a pony car. These cars have character and potential. I'm getting sick with these guys buying stock trans ams and spraying them. My goal is to build an all motor small block ford and am open to suggestions.
