Default whats the best setup

guys i m acting like a newbie on this but i m confused for whatever reason, so i need help and would lke to kno what u guys think is the best setup for me
i want a mid to high 12 sec n/a fox, i m gonna just get a new 5.0 block b/c of my 86 w/ the god damn pistons, so i have 373s and a wcit5 and would like suggestions i got a little over 2000 to spendt

you dont need a block, get new pistons. go 306, .030 pistons with valve reliefs, and find a procharger. 12's.

you might even be able to go without the pro charger, mines a 306 with just the good ole holley systemax system and she runs mid to low 12s consistantly. all motor.

what pistons do u recommend i have a guy that will do this for real cheap along with me so essentially i could devote most of hte money to the parts

so with those pistons, which i assume will use the stockconnecting rods,and a gt40p heads off an explorer non ported for now, money issues, and what cam and intake should i use, i m not worryin about emissions b/c i can get someone to get me through

thats what i was saying about the systemax by holley, for a little over $2000 you get the whole kit, cam,timming,push rods,intake,plenum,heads. im running dss forged nitro pistons in mine but keith black pistons are exceptionaly good.

well the prob is i most likely am goin with a explorer intake, along with the gt40p heads, and i was wondering what cam really would be the best
i m doin this on a strict budget
i also am asking if those pistons are the same clearance and will fit up to the stock connecting rods

impreety sure they will have a shorter clearance but i tell ya what pal ive got a set of trickflow chromeoly hardened pushrods brand new that i think are 6.040 but im not positve and im in illinois working now for about the next 10 to 12 days but as soon as i get back home i will tell ya and you can maybe base some of your stuff off of these because merry fking christmas charlie brown im gonna mail em to you for a grand total of nothing

dude that would be sweet , but htat still doesnt help me with the connecting rods and i was thinkin a cam with a lift slightly smaller than the stage 2 trick flow
