i put in a brand new idle control valve and tps sensor and set it, checked for vacuum leaks but couldn't find any and it still wont idle right. it has a map sensor otherwise i woulda cleaned the maf. any other ideas. it like chugs when decelerating at low speeds and jumps sometimes at idle.

now when you say 'jumps at idle' do you mean the idle is going up and down, or the car is trying to jump.

have you checked the fuel pressure?
are you getting a good current to the plugs?

haha it revs up 200rpms randomly at idle and just like chugs along as it slows down. i didn't check the fuel pressure. i was also thinkin maybe a clogged fuel filter

i'd start with with fuel pressure. sounds like a tiny leak in the regulator.

aright thats where i'm heading next...never touched a fuel regulator before. any hints to throw my way as to where its located and how to test or adjust?
