Default Stroker question

I've already decided on 347. I'm trying to build this as radical as possible but still be streetableoccasionally. So here it goes, with 347, AFR 165 heads, vic JR. intake, holley 650 carb, what cam should i run any suggestions? Dont care about idle quality i want it to lope. Also i have 1.7 roller rockers with whatever cams you recommend will the piston to valve clearance be ok?

You want it radical but you picked a small carb and smaller head.

Put an F cam in it because you're screwed.

you need afr 185;s

what kind of pistons? what cam? the 1.7's will add .30 to a cam, a stroker can usually yield a huge cam

Alright then I'll change the question what setup on a carburated 347 will get me into 11's (streetable). What heads? What cam? What intake?

I would go with the afr 185s on a 347, for a cam i would go with a f303 or a x303, but with the x303 you may need bigger valve springs since you have 1.7s

heads - AFR 205, Canfield 195s, RHS (something comparable), ported TFS TW, Vic Jr.

intake - Victor Jr., Parker funnelweb

cam - www.camshaftinnovations.com

And don't shoot for 11s. Shoot for LOW 11s.

he picked the right carb for the job, that carb is good on the small blocks, if you consider that bbc run 750 to 800 carbs and they have a good 200 c.i. on the 347. the heads i agree wit you but the carb is just the right size
