Default Changed Tranny Fluid,is it always a b*tch?

So i decied to change my ATF in the T-5. I went and boight Mobil-1 synthentic,(hope its good stuff) the old **** was pretty nasty looking, dark&metallic, dont think it had been changed since it was rebuilt , anyhow i decided to pour it in from the shift tower, well i went to twist my B&M Hammer off, and i know it was cross-threaded from the last idiot that owned it, and it snapped off. GREAT.....well i pretty much had to keep working. and didnt know it would end up taking me like 3 f*cking hrs to do it all.........had to remove the center console, remove shifter, and all the good stuff......damn now im due for a new shift lever

yeah the old fluid was ****, it was really not what i expected, just cuz i broke the Hammer off, and had to remove the center console to get the shifter off to fill it, i did at least figure out i have Hurst shifter, i could never tell what i was before.

buy a siphon pump kit and pump it into the fill hole so that you dont have to take off the shifter

+1

Or a fluid gun at Napa... Both are under $20 and are handy for all sorts of stuff.
