Default 89 gt has problem accelerating when i turn

when i turn or corner right and try to accelerate i no respond it attempts to go somewhere but does it slow until im straight again ...i take off straight with no issues most of the time and when going left its fine .i had a escort that had the same issue the fuel filter would stall the call but not kill it.once fixed it was better but still was a slight power difference vs going straight.

I'm guessing its the fuel filter anyone have any ides that will help me out so i don't do any unnecessary things?

ignition module(in dizzy)
But i believe its fuel related because it only does it when i turn right

Dude, I have the same problem possibly. When you take a right does it lose fuel pressure until you turn the wheel straight? If so...as long as you kinda keep tapping the gas softly it will backfire a few times and then catch if you let off and straighten it will die. I just changed my cap and rotor, and as of yesterdat if I don't hit it just right my car dies and doesn't want to start. I have to let it chill (wherever I am, in the middle of the road...etc.) until it wants to start again. Get it check out soon. Def. check ur cap and rotor, if it's all burnt up it puts more pressure on your fuel pump and can cause it to weaken and go out. I'm hoping my car will be okay after learning this the hard way...

check your voltage at the battery. The ignition is requiring full voltage. Battery might be getting weak or alternator not putting out full. seen this happen before.

stalling on cornering and running bad on cornering = check the baffle inside the fuel tank and make sure it hasn't broke free along fuel to slosh away from pump sock

I will i am working on ideas for what i can do after that. It is already out of gas and in the drive way.New clutch is already on the list,my clutch pedal feels like my cable stretched or the clutch fork bent. One day taking it out as i put it in reverse and released the clutch it felt weak and now has a few inches of play before pressing and takes nearly if not a full pedal press.

I dropped the tank baffles broken . i was checking out the fuel pump i have a 155 thats making alot of noise lately .the runs hard when cold . and would cruise all day when it fully warm. but when i try to give it some throttle when its fully warm it would just go silent it is really working my nervs and making me want to get rid of it . i dont want to swap a new tank in and have the same issue . i had this similar problem with an 86 but the tank was fine pump was just bad . so ill belooking at a net tank and pump .
i just want to drop in a fuel cell and say forget it .I'am likely to just replace the tank and pump .
