Default Headlight switch and block

I think I figured out why my headlight switch broke..

anyone know where I can get a new one? And what might've caused it to fry?

na i havent found anywhere that sells them... i dont know why the wires are getting so hot either.

I read up and there's been alot of cases where the connector just melted so it's not uncommon I guess.. this still sucks I wanted to fix this today now I have to find the connector

Same thing happened to me. I suggest going to blueovalindustries.com and looking under the Hardware section. They sell a replacement block with a larger gauge wire that will prevent the melting plastic in the future.

thanks alot guys.. they have them at Autozone and PepBoys for like 15 bucks but they're not Motorcraft. So I went to the dealer and paid up for a new one from Motorcraft.. it was 47 bucks.. yeah they sure do rape you at the dealership.

oh one more question.. after you guys replaced the switch/connector did you ever take a look to see if it's melting again?
