Default Swapping rear axle assembly

I have a daily driven 93 LX. It has basic bolt ons and 3.73 rear gears.

I know I may miss them the day I bolt on a pair of sticky tires but they really get on my nerves. With the snow tires 1st or 2nd are pretty much useless and even with my summer tires, 235 45 17 Dunlops. It's barely hooking up at the top of 1st.

I was thinking instead of swapping the ring and pinion for a friendlier 3.08 or 3.27. How about getting a whole rear assembly, brakes and all, and swap the entire set up back and forth as needed.

Was thinking this would be pretty easy but I'm not too sure about the best way to disconnect the parking brake cable.

Yes dime. It has some brand of boxed lower control arm and a set of Eibach springs.
