Default MSD Q

I went to the track a month ago and was running 13.3s at 105mph with 2.2 60'. While I was wandering how much my MSD 6a actually gave me, so I unhooked it. I ran a 13.12 and a 13.18 both at 107mph with 2.2 60'. I hooked it back up and back to 13.3s at 105mph same 2.2 60', ....WTF... any ideas.

Sounds likea case of the head games maybe. I dont think the 6al would have any noticable affect on your car.

i agree. to many variables as well. if you really want to know how much the msd box is doing, go to a dyno. much fewer variables to worry about

Unless you're running boost, nitrous or major compression, I wouldn't waste money on a 6A box.

I think atleast it would promote a cleaner fuel burn, which is always good.

i had an msd 6al on my near stock 69 302 motor, and noticed a sig. increase in fuel milage, and throttle response. i just took it out andnow i'm going to put it on my 95.
