RE: Average Horse Power with Intake?
depends on the mods with it, if hes got a cam and maybe a little head work than yea, but if the motor is stock than maybe 10 wheel.

I would say between 20-30rwhp

RE: Average Horse Power with Intake?
how do u figure, ifi were to put a decently sized cam in with the rest of the block stock, i would actually see a decrease in power, so the intake with the crappy stock e7 heads will do little.

definitely more than 10.....id say at least 20

RE: Average Horse Power with Intake?
I have to agree with Ih8Chevy, if the rest of the motor is stock I cant see much gain from it, for the price especially. Prolly better to save and do heads and cam at the same time.

more than 10 for sure... you need to get jan07 to now issues of 5.0 mustang and super fords they took a near stock mustang and returned it to completelye bone stock.. and dynoed it and pulled 202rwhp.. put on openpowerstack filterand bumped timing and fuel pressure and hit 213rwhp... then with all boltons with stock hci pulled 233rwhp added twisted wedge heads, cam, and prof. prod. typhoon intake with all supporting modsand tuned it and hit 321rwhp.. then installed a 17psi vortech blower then tuned it and pumped out 506rwhp
good information and actually shows going from bone stock 5.0 foxand modding itin stages and you can see hp gains for each step..
this was all starting out with bone stock 302 ifthey went from 202rwhp to213rwhp by bumping timing adding open filter and adjusting fuel an intake will get more hp gain then that.. id say a good 20.. i know my intake made a huge sotp difference in my car.. but i agree heads are very restrictive...
