winters aren't like they used to be
i too am driving a notch as my DD
if the snow gets bad, snow tires do make a diff on the rears, it's very doable, the idea of getting it all salty sux, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and try to get a beater for next year. jump on the chance for a clean notch.

With proper tires it's not that bad at all, some people make it a much bigger deal than it really is.

Eh, it's not that bad. I don't have the gears though, and i'm sure that makes it 20x's worse. As a matter of fact i'm willing to bet thatany mustang, 5 speed or auto, is a pain to drive in the snow.
