Default Parking On Incline--> Warped Pressure Plate?

Ive heard that leaving the car in gear while parked on an incline can warp the pressure plate over time. How true is this?

I have never heard that, I'm gonna go with that being false. It is well known to keep your manual in gear on inclines in the addition to the parking brake.
