I thought this one looked good, it has pictures. I used a different one, but can't seem to find it, I will keep looking also.

when I watch the transmission rebuilder at work, he has a bright white work bench and stainless steel one, both with holes in the middle and drain bucket on bottom.

The trans , sits toward front of table, everything from front to back, is placed in that exact order on rear of table, slanted towards the right.

The case is then picked up and hot tanked, the parts inspected one by one. You say you busted a gear, I have only seen sync's messed up in them, thats why most rebuild kits, do not have gears included or the shaft.

T-5's are cake to him takes an hour or less total, no books. Its funny, watching this guy move his azz like there is no tomorrow, becuase labor time on shi kills the mechanics paycheck!, especially warranty work, and he has 3 boys and a non working wife

u said you took the case apart right??? take the main shaft out and take good pics of the 3dr gear and post them... the likely ness of actualy breaking or cracking a gear is unlikely... if the gear it's self is buster it may be cheaper to get a new tranny... find out what parts you need price them and then look at the prices of the tranny u want
