I have discovered a slow oil leak. How common is it for a Vortech to have an oil leak? Either in the pan tap or line?

its not common. sounds like you intalled something wrong

where is the leak? if it's in the line connection then try some teflon tape on the thread

I would not use teflon tape. As it may get into the line and clog the supercharger. I used a very light silicone on the threads and the end where I knew it would stop and not get into the line. They say not to put any at all but I had a small leak.

I am not even sure if the leak is comming from the SC. It just happoend last night I am going to lift the car in a few minutes. Hopefully it is just a loose filter for plug.

I was just wondering if a SC leak is common.The procharger on my Z06 is self contained.
