Default To Rebuild or not to Rebuild the T-5 ?

I bought a t-5 from a guy and the car is currently working just fine.
I have a blown 3nd. gear in the t-5 in my garage.
Question are:

1.Will it be better to replace the gear cluster and the top gear, give it a good bath, new bearings, syncro, seals, the works... to get it back to running order?

Or
2.Just buy another and pitch this one? You can buy these things all day long if you look hard enough. the question is are they any good?

3.If I replace the parts in this one, any places to recommend the parts I need listed above?

Now for the most important question:

The reason this car that I now own has had 2 trannys in 2 yrs. is because it has too much power for the tranny I just bought it. It wasn't me that blew the 2 trannys..

1a.Where would I go to get the strongest parts to rebuild this?

I can rebuild these. I will only need a to borrow the dial indicator from work to set the end play.

just get a tko if you got to much power because your just going to be waisting your money rebuilding t-5's over and over again.

Is it me or am I not the only one that can't open the two links?

As far as the T-5 is concerned, I am sure that if I rebuild it to stock, I will continue to have gear problems. If I build it stronger, I could get some use out of it. Sure would like to be able to view those 2 links!!!!
